Quite firmly believe that David Thien, chef-owner of Shelter in the Woods, is a genius. Not only is he responsible for what I believe is the best suckling pig in Singapore, he also created this dreamy "eclair" with almond-studded choux pastry sandwiching cloud-like dollops of celeriac and truffle mousse.

Michel Lu oh dear, what did you have? I'll admit not everything is mindblowing, but nothing was bad and I'm darn sure nobody will dispute that David Thien does a fine suckling pig.

Rachel Xie Nothing major except an oxidized, grey looking terrine but just seemed quite lacklustre overall. To be fair they were very new then so am keen to go revisit since I live in the neighborhood anyway... ;)
