Most Banh Mi tend to be toasted too little, but Co Ba Quan sets a new standard for Banh Mi.
The bread is toasted well, giving it a crunchy taste which complements the chilli sauce, cucumber and meat well.
A small gripe I had was the choice of meat, as processed fishcakes were used instead of actual fresh fish. At $6.90, this Banh Mi provides bang for buck with the well toasted buns, and I recommend trying it out.
Grade A- (would up to A if a different filling was used)
