Appetising though it may look, this was a far cry from the wondrous, wok-smoked delicacy I experienced in KL. The dark soy sauce was devoid of depth and the "tai lok" noodles, mealy and overly chewy. Worst of all, this hot mess was overly greasy and the lard pieces seemed almost rancid.
