Pictured is the Engawa handroll, the last item in their $36 set of 6 handrolls. Torched on the spot and prepared right in front of you. It was warm, sweet and juicy. The taste of the charred exterior combined with the natural slight oiliness of the fish was an amazing combination. Also seasoned well such that it was balanced between salty and sweet. It was a hearty end to their set. The seaweed does not stay crispy for long though so don’t take more than a minute to take your pictures and just eat it as soon as it’s served!
The one on the left looks smaller because I asked for less rice- you are guaranteed to be full after consuming 6 handrolls worth of rice
