The homemade satay sauce was the main highlight here, with a fragrant, nutty flavour coupled with an aromatic tinge of spice that was distinct, lingering and not too overwhelming. A great companion to the tempeh patty that was crisp and well marinated ✨. Along with the crunch of sliced Japanese cucumbers and fresh coral lettuce, a vegan satay was just as great and enjoyable (minus the guilt and sin too! 🙃) . The shot of cider (complimentary for all dine in mains) was a great way to kickstart the appetite but I would usually prefer to consume it after my meal as a palate cleanser instead. 🙈
