Extra crinkle cut fries and baked beans please! Operating in the late afternoon, Jurong West Fried Chicken & Western food is my family's go-to western food stall and a place for me to satisfy my sudden craving for some no-frills chicken chop~

Better than any western fast food chain because it is affordable, good and convenient to get our hands on. The gravy is savoury-sweet which goes well with the tender meat. Also while crisp on the outside, the bun and thick-cut fries are soft on the inside.

As a regular, the uncle at the stall will always greet my family warmly and with our usual orders replace our coleslaw with extra baked beans. For that, we continued to frequent the stall for years and thus bringing fond memories.
