Managed to take a good break and enjoyed lots of good food during the long weekend, and Dong Bei food was one of them😀! The Pickled Cabbage with Starch Noodle, having a sour taste to it, was very appetising. The Sauteed Tomato with Egg was super smooth and silky🍅🍳, while the Sweet and Sour Pork was really crispy, even after being left out for some time! However, we did find it's sauce a tad too vinegary, and preferred the pork pieces that has less sauce on it as those were crispier and tasted less vinegary🥩. The Sichuan Style Boiled Sliced Fish was super soft as well, with just the right amount of spice🌶️. With its affordable prices and good portions, it makes a great place for gatherings. The menu is super extensive as well, and we'll definitely be back to try other Dong Bei dishes🤓!
