I did not watch the Parade today. I was so exhausted from one month of clocking 7/8am late "nights" that I just slept through today and woke up as the end-credits for the Parade was rolling. Considering the next stage of things, I felt surprisingly calm and at peace with this country I call home both grudgingly and with some affection. Ate some #teochewporridge to reminisce my roots and grabbed the quintessential Singaporean dessert-- Mac's hot fudge sundae. Happy Birthday Singapore. 🇸🇬
