Just thinking about my meal at the newly-opened sake bar Copper on Stanley from an alternate hour of the present day - unagi don, tempura ebi bun, KFC (Korean fried chicken) and Pear cocktail (sake, pear eau de vie, elderflower, pomegranate).

On offer is an extensive range of interesting fruit-tinged sakes priced between $7-$10 per glass, as well as surprisingly decent Asian-style bar grub.

Two guys, four plates, a glass of sake and a cocktail = $60 ONLY. No GST and service charge (!!). Virtually nightlight robbery! Will definitely be back to try every single sake.
