But I have to say I was not super impressed.. there was absent a wow factor for me.. Maybe replacing the cucumber in the salmon aburi maki with something softer would make it have more of a melt in the mouth texture. I miss the tasty maki at #barashitei which appears to be permanently closed 😥 should have patronised it more.
Salmon Fish Head Miso probably should have been cooked with less Negi (and vege if any). It tasted almost more like a vege soup than miso soup. Vege taste overpowered the miso taste.
There wasn't a queue when we reached at around 7.40pm on a Friday and there were a few empty tables inside.
Although the food was quite meh, it was still a great dinner as there's great company! @meihongc 😊
