A really lovely loaf of focaccia!

I like how they spiced things up a little by adding truffle into your traditional focaccia flavours of garlic and rosemary. It worked out surprisingly well because the truffle smell and taste were subtle - you can smell it but it doesn’t overpower the scent of garlic and rosemary and the taste comes through almost as an aftertaste. Even when I heated it up in the oven for a few minutes, I still smelled garlic and rosemary before the truffle hits you.

I also enjoyed the full chunks of garlic in this, which were soft and sweet. They added a layer of texture and definitely extra flavour.

I ate mine with a slab of slightly salted butter on top, which was just excellent! It also paired well dipped into some extra virgin olive oil.

Definitely one to grab if you’re wondering what to get from Maison Sucrée!
