The name of this dish is quite a mouthful. Eating it though, is much easier. The moo ping hits the right meaty, tender notes, albeit a tad oilier than I would prefer. On the side, a bowl of som tum, or papaya salad, helps keep your palate light from all that pork. Was very confused by the little basket of sticky rice, which came plain and unadorned. It didn’t feel right to eat it with either the salad or pork, and so that ended up untouched.
All things considered, this platter still comes at value for money since the skewers themselves already costs RM15!
