Dish: We got the Fish Taco, Corn Bread, the Wagyu Hanger Steak and a Gin Sour. The Fish Taco was served as 2 bite-sized pieces and was just okay. The wagyu steak was delicious, melt-in-your-mouth goodness. However, the star of the night got to be the cornbread with smoked butter. I don't know what magic is in the smoked butter but I really liked it, maybe even more than the steak. The Gin Sour wasn't that great of a cocktail, perhaps abit too diluted.
Price: Despite sharing the steak, the bill racked up to over $110. As I don't fine dine often, I am not able to make a fair evaluation of the value of the meal, compared to other fine dining places.
Final Verdict: Skip the Fish Taco and just go with the cornbread, or even 2. It was a great meal but the price point is just way out of what I can afford, so I doubt I will visit Meatsmith again unless there's a promotion.
