Haven’t actually heard of taramasalata before, but learnt that it’s like a Mediterranean version of a mentaiko dip! Just a little of this spread on the pita gives sufficient flavour. It’s smooth with a tiny touch of tang and it’s not as creamy/milky as the usual mentaiko spreads which may sometimes get a bit heavy. It’s also very convenient to have - we’ve been spreading it on all sorts of bakes man. Available as a bundle with pita bread or on its own. There’s also kombu butter available.
