The last time I had a dak galbi (stir-fried marinated diced chicken in a gochujang-based sauce with sweet potatoes, radish, cabbage, scallions, and tteok) was almost 7 years ago, so having my dinner here at Yoogane definitely brought back great memories of my time at Korea.

All galbi item on the menu won't be the most photogenic dish to take a photo of after being flipped around on the hotplate, but they sure are delish (pro tip: top up with mozzarella cheese for an extra indulgence). In fact, the Yoogane Chicken Galbi ($18.90) isn't spicy at all, but it's really portioned just right for 1 pax so you gotta get (a lot) more to share or spam the sides.

Other worthy mentions: Kimchi Ham Egg Roll (ham and melted cheese wrapped in a kimchi-infused egg roll) and Naengmyeon.
