We eyeballed each other warily, before I moved in and took my first nibble. Never had anything like it before. This was at a wine pairing event and I couldn't quite fathom why I got happier each time I realised that the next delicious wine didn't actually pair with this awesome appetiser either. None did, not even the Sauterne. Didn't bother me of course.
