I wasn't wowed by it per my expectations, but it was pretty comforting and marginally better than any chili pan mee I had in SG.

The dish depends heavily on the chili, undoubtedly — and it was fragrant and umami but perhaps overly so, as the saltiness slightly overpowered the rest of the flavours; maybe I needed a tad more moderation. Noodles were really well cooked though, perfectly springy and held the sauce and chili immaculately.
