I got excited when I saw some of the menu items like crab meat eggs Benedict and ngoh hiang pork burger. The croissant we ordered tasted like it was bought from a factory and toasted in stores (prob was), the ngoh Hiang burger was alright, moist and juicy patty but the five-spice flavour was faint. The wagyu beef burger (pictured above)… why get succulent, fatty and prized wagyu beef just to grind it up into a patty for a burger? A wagyu steak sandwich would’ve made more sense. What happened with the wagyu burger happened with the crab meat eggs Benedict. It would’ve been better if they had just put lumps of dressed crab meat instead of making a crab meat patty where the shredded crab was almost indistinguishable from canned tuna, texture-wise. But hey, at least their drinks are really nice! Bought a summer iced tea, it was fragrant and refreshing and an iced coffee that was aromatic. 5.9/10 stars for me.
