Like, how is the milk so thick? Is it the cows? Why is this so tasty? How does the lime jelly go so well with the coconut mousse? I'm at @kokoblackchocolate along William Street. I remember the early uni days when my friends and I would drive down to Claremont Quarters, sit at a tiny corner and order the iced chocolates and laugh and laugh and laugh. Two generous scoops of chocolate and vanilla ice cream swim in a glass drenched with chocolate sauce and filled with thick, creamy milk. Tasty milk chocolates shavings are heaped on top (I asked for a smaller amount today) and each decadent scoop was an indulgent bite of freedom. Sweet, too sweet, and a little escape from healthy living, this was relief from poor student food. Today, I also ordered the special, a creamy white chocolate mousse tinged with coconut, topped with a thin layer of crumble and dedicated coconut. Wobbling on the surface, a wibbly dome of lime jelly. The burst of lime contrasts sharply with the delicate sweetness and tropical flavour of the mousse, a break from the sweetness of the dish. This is amazing. Indulgent, and today, my relief from reality. #PerthIsOk
