Not your authentic Italian carbonara but if you love the Singaporean cafe style version this was done so right! A generous portion of pasta, this carbonara was so creamy and cheesy. There was so much bacon that it’s be enough for you to have it with every bite, and the saltiness from the bacon really helped to make the creamy pasta less overwhelming and more savoury. The beautiful egg yolk added an amazing finishing touch. While indeed on the pricier side, it’s pretty good for the rustic cafe ambience and portion!
