Traditionally, Koreans celebrate Chuseok (harvest festival) by eating songpyeon as they gather with their families back in their hometown.

The filling inside varies - sometimes mung bean or honey with nuts, or peanuts. They are colourful with natural flavours too! It has a chewier and harder texture than mochi or tangyuan. Don't get disappointed if you see ungenerous filling - it happens everywhere.
