We all liked the Soy Good Chicken Burger ($15) and thought that the sweet sesame soy-garlic sauce was a winner that complemented tender chicken leg fillings.

Black Nut

2 Emerald Hill Road, Singapore

I am a zhi char kind of (Kok Sen really) Har Cheong Kai (chicken in prawn paste batter, deed fried until shiok) kind of guy.

This Threesome Awesome was just awesome.

[somerset] prolly had one too many drinks last night at Black Nut's official launch

no one's complaining though, except why it's not a weekend today.

Har Cheong Chicken Wings aka prawn paste wings.

Swicy Hot Chick from Black Nut - sweet and spicy gochujang chilli wings.

Balukoo Wantons from Black Nut - buah keluak flesh, finely diced prawn, spring onion, ginger, garlic and homemade sambal chilli dip.

Ayam Bakar Burger from Black Nut - juicy chicken leg spiced with lemongrass, blue ginger, lime leaves, assam, black pepper, and glazed with sweet kecap manis and homemade rumpah spice paste.

Almost thinking about the "Not A Cock Up" AFC (Asian Fried Chicken) Wings - pinnacle vodka infused crispy wings - I had less than a hundred minutes ago at Black Nut, a newly-opened buah keluak-inspired bar on Emerald Hill.
