粥师父 is one of our favorite porridge stalls, a well hidden gem in the west. The porridge is always served in the perfect Goldilockian temperature. Personally i prefer my porridge to be smooth, consistency with soft grainy texture instead of in gruel watery form nor a baby paste food alike. The porridge never fails to meet this. The price is considerably cheap for a stall in the coffee shop. The porridge master is generous with the ingredients and condiments that i can shovel in every spoon. The sliced fish porridge is priced at $3 and the century egg with either chicken or pork is $2.50. This bowl of mixed innards is $3.50.
