Opened just over a month ago, Sho Kushiage seems to be Sunway students' new hotspot for affordable lunches. For RM15.90, there are 6 value for money tonkatsu-style set dishes to choose from. Taking a cue from the tables near me, I ordered the Japanese Curry Cheesy Pork Ball set and was served five enormous deep-fried pork balls along with cabbage salad, rice, miso soup and a choice of drink. I'd imagine hungry, hormonal teenage kids to adore this place for the generous portions. The fried pork balls were tasty, spilling open to gooey cheese and ultra delicious when it gets the help of the curry sauce on the side. The restaurant also appears to specialise in Three Yuan Pork (a premium selection of pork meat), so if you're willing to spend for quality, go for their signature Pork Cutlet sets (from RM26.90)
