You'd think Yong Tau Foo stands for mostly healthy. Not at this place. Even the hipster setting is misleading - you'd walk by thinking YTF is the last thing they'd serve.
💫
Everything that's fry-able is fried and then drenched in a braised gravy. Imagine my mock horror when I realised they fried up even my white beancurd. Then there's that smooth vermicelli in the same meat gravy. Slurp it up with the kick-ass chilli. Definitely tastier than your average YTF, and special in its style. $6.30 for 6 pieces. 💫
The musts: Dough fritter with fish paste, white beancurd (so very fresh and tender) and take the vermicelli over the rice.
