Nothing quite beats having Teochew porridge dishes with my family at Zai Shun on a weekend. Aside from their popular steamed fish, their simple and comforting spread of classic dishes like handmade fish cake, fried bitter gourd fried egg (with bits of salted egg white too! ❤️), meat patty with salted fish, chap chye (mixed vegetable stew), hae bee hiam (spicy dry shrimp) are equally satisfying and delicious too!
