As I am unable to fly to Japan to try the lava-styled omu rice from Kichi Kichi, the next best alternative would be to give Omu a shot. There are several sauce bases to choose from such as cream, curry or demiglace before you add other condiments such as pork cutlets, shabu shabu etc. Pictured is the Omu Rice with Demiglace Sauce, Lava-styled Egg and Pork Cutlets (THB 250).
