From newly-opened Dofu at Yishun Temporary Bus Interchange, taking one of the booths situated at the alighting berths of the bus interchange. Serving Black Soy Pudding and Ice Cream, there is a choice of having both with either 3, 5 or 7 toppings — the Black Soy ice-cream sits atop the pudding here. Some work is definitely needed on the presentation for the soft-serve is swirled flat into the cup — definitely would have looked better with taller and more defined swirls. That being said, the flavour is good especially on hot days; tasted similar to soy milk but more roasty — think soy milk and just a tiny hint of black sesame within. The pudding is soft; perhaps nearly liquid but with a temperature warmer than the soft serve; would prefer the temperature of the pudding to be more uniformed but taste-wise it does offer a break from the soft-serve by being a little more neutral in flavour. Most of the toppings are different variants popping boba, granola and a few other toppings; opted for the Lychee Popping Boba which works great as it infuses a little tanginess with Maple Pecan Granola for something to crunch on. The mini marshmallows were limp and stiff; perhaps left out there for too long being lost its moisture from being aired out. It's not a must try, but at $4.80 this is definitely a good alternative to llaollao if you are around Yishun MRT.

Dofu is situated at Yishun Temporary Bus Interchange, 20A Yishun Central, #01-05. Opens from 11am to 8pm daily.
