I recently checked out this hidden gem tucked away at the 2nd level of The Punggol Settlement. If you’re looking for a quiet and scenic place to wind down over the weekends, away from the hustle and bustle of city life, @izakaya95 is definitely the place to hit up!

I am not worried about bringing friends to @izakaya95 because with their extensive menu, there’s definitely something for everyone! @izakaya95 is a Japanese Yakitori bar that serves a wide array of Japanese fare including grilled meats, ramen, fried rice, grilled skewers and many more! If you’re in for some chill drinking, they boast an extensive list of alcohol such as sake, Suntory Premium Japanese beer, house special cocktails and more!

Consisting of Kagoshima Buta Teriyaki, Foie Gras, Hotate, Kaki & Lamb Rack. You ought to give their grilled items a try - juicy, tender, well-seasoned and evenly grilled with a minimal layer of char.

Super love this! The clams were like super huge, XXXL in size! Definitely a bang for the buck!

It’s no wonder this is one of their signatures! The fragrant and fluffy garlic fried rice has a good amount of smoky aroma and savouriness to it, while boasting balanced notes of garlic aroma.

We complemented the dishes with a plethora of alcoholic beverages such as 𝐬𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐚𝐤𝐞 (to start us off), 𝐬𝐚𝐤𝐞, 𝐡𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐛𝐞𝐞𝐫!

Despite the ulu location, the cosy vibes and scenic view surely made up for it.
