Smoky and tender, the unagi possesses a melt-in-your-mouth buttery texture that's sure to meet the appoval of those slippery eel connoisseurs. The rice is drenched in the same savoury, sweet sauce that the unagi is glazed in, which was to my liking but others deemed too saccharine. Bonus points for the perfect onsen egg.
This is one of five mains(+$10 for unagi) you can pick from their super value for money $28 lunch set which includes appetizer, soup and dessert. We were more than happy with our smoked duck salad amd matcha ice cream which were the items for the day. Best part? This set lunch is available on weekends too!
