Gettin' jjigae with it.

Budae jjigae doesn't sound that appealing especially to foodies. It originates from wartime when people would prepare new meals by mixing leftovers together.

Who knew that processed food would be so appealing? This amalgamation of hot dogs, spam, tteok, gochujang and kimchi was utterly shiok to devour.

This Shimson Stew Set Menu (₩34,000 or S$39.90 for four persons! Smaller portions are available) is a modern take on budae jjigae and includes 100% mozzarella cheese, spicy pork, potato croquettes and beef brisket. One can complete this sinful meal with hot butter rice or instant noodles. MmmMmm.

This restaurant in particular is famous with locals and celebrities so you can be assured that the food tastes good.
