A new item available at Ciel Patisserie's newest outlet at Jalan Bukit Merah a few blocks away from where Good Chance Popiah and now-defunct Yee Kee Roasted Delights used to be (Ciel Patisserie's first outlet at Hougang Ave 1 is still in operations). The Blanc is a white chocolate mousse cake with mango and yuzu filled inside sitting atop a vanilla sponge. A cake that would hit the soft spot for those who prefer cakes with more tropical touch, it comes filled with chunks of mango flesh for a bit of bite. The sweetness of the mango comes countered with the zesty flavours of Yuzu bearing flavours really similar to Korean Citron Tea while the white chocolate mousse helps to neutralize both flavours to round them up pretty nicely.
