Just thinking about the “Grape Expectations” Workshop that I attended fifty-one California girls ago at “Taste the Moment”, a culinary festival happening this weekend at JW Marriott Hotel Singapore South Beach (@jwmarriottsg) which includes a series of different workshops, chef masterclasses as well as a five-course supper from three JW Marriott chefs from across the portfolio’s Asia-Pacific properties.

It was a fun experience during which attendees played it all top wine critic-meets-high SES and scored six different wines - three Chardonnays and three Cabernet Sauvignons - based on their aroma, appearance, taste, body/texture, balance, finish and overall quality, under the expert guidance of Kate Rowe from Treasury Wine Estates (@kr_wine).
