FairPrice Xtra recently has opened in Parkway Parade, took over Giant supermarket at level 3. The supermarket has a new concept of dining in with seafood & chi zhar, drink bar, bakery, ice cream and coffee inside.

FairPrice brings in establish Ban Tong Seafood as their partner for grilled & chi zhar stall inside the supermarket. Since it was my 1st time here, I don’t know how to order. I just take 1 pack of sea bass 200g and ask them to grilled. The sea bass fillet itself is $7.70 with $8 cooking charges for anything up to 500g, total bill $15.70.

Actually it’s quite expensive if you don’t utilise your ingredients to 500g. I should add on veggie pack to compliment my fish. They take in fresh meat, fish, crabs, veggie to cook inhouse, anything that has been cleaned and prepared. Not the whole broccoli or kangkong which they still have to chop or wash for example.

This marked a 2nd FairPrice Xtra who has seafood and chi zhar dining experience in Singapore, which the 1st one has opened in Vivocity.
