Chicken Sushi ($4.90) was the first time I ever heard of chicken rice sushi. A slice of Roost's signature soya sauce chicken rests on a neatly moulded base of chicken rice and garlic bits, glazed with teriyaki sauce. Pop one in and it tastes just like chicken rice. The garnish of fried ginger, shallots, and spring onions pleasantly lifts the flavour.
