Had always wanted to give the food here a go but it's hidden in a spot that I often forget it actually exists in the mall. That being said, the Banh Mi is actually pretty good here — the baguette is already great on its own; crusty and with a bit of chewiness as one takes a bite into the sandwich with a lingering butteriness that goes pretty well with the fillings. In between, the Grilled Pork takes the major role here with its sweetness; it's not exactly the most tender, but it suffices here given how it goes pretty well with the crunchy cucumbers and greens here while the lemongrass helps to enhance the flavours further — the coriander helps to balance off all that sweetness altogether. Good Banh Mi is a hard find in Singapore, but Vietbox's version is one that easily satisfies Banh Mi cravings — it is done pretty well and works as a convenient place to solve those Banh Mi cravings considering the quality and flavour of the sandwiches here.
