Hahah
Putting the RM 1.90 per bowl gimmick aside, the noodles just tasted so-so. Very moderate and nothing to shout about. Every bowl serves 1-2 bites.
I ordered all four of spicy and non spicy chicken and beef Thai rice noodles. Beef tasted much better. I prefer their spicier soups aka Pathumthani. I cannot eat spicy food but this was not spicy AT ALL. Just a little heat and more flavour.
Taste wise, boat noodle didn't impress me. Everyone is just coming here for the gimmick and "ego" if I may say.
The Jaya One branch doesn't have long lines. So you can always come here rather than the crowded Empire Damansara if you live nearby. Worth a try to check out the hype or just for fun. Not worth keeping your stomach empty for a great meal here.
The two cute looking bowls are coconut-pandan pudding dessert aka Kanum Tuay(?). It tasted like a stickier and softer kuih talam in tea cups. Haha not too bad!
Food: 5/10 Price: 5/10 (RM 1.90 per bowl of any broth. Seems cheap. But if you take 20 bowls = 20 bites = 1 normal serving of Thai Beef noodle = RM 38 is expensive. It all adds up. Depends on how you look at it. Like I said, a gimmick. // RM 1 for coconut-pandan dessert. Serves two little bowls)
