Most of the dishes are fusion of Asian (more of Thai style) and Spanish cuisine, creative ideas to draw the crowds to accept Spanish cuisine!
Tapas
- Chorizo Sausage🌭
- Pineapple Chicken🍍
- Beef Skewers🍗
- Lamb Kebab🍖
- Grilled Squid🐙
- Pork Belly🍖
- Beef Cheek🥩
The tapas are served in tink-kat, small bites and it’s cheaper if you order more, food for sharing definitely!
The sausages are norm, firm and as you chew along, the taste get stronger, decent and good to eat with a drink or two...
The pineapple chicken is really tender and the chicken is being stuffed inside the green chilli, but fret not, it’s not spicy, they complement each other well, with asparagus as the base, well designed dish indeed!
The beef skewers with lemongrass as the stick, very nicely cooked, the beef is juicy with hint of lemongrass aroma, nice! (I don’t eat beef, that’s what I gathered from fren)
The lamb kebab with pumpkin as the base, the big chunk of lamb is juicy and tender with a light rosemary taste, complemented with pumpkin (sweet) to neutralise the heavy taste, yum!
The grilled squid is like what you can expect from for a bbq squid, but good thing is this is not chewy like a rubber band, good to go with beer...
The pork belly is well prepared without that unpleasant pork smell! However, the texture is a little like firm jelly, a little firmer than the usual braised pork belly, and it’s not like sio-bak, definitely not crispy, it’s the in-between, not mushy and not exactly crispy, I think pork belly lover would love this. I’m not a fan of pork belly, probably skip this the next time...
The beef cheek are soft and tender, nicely braised, the sauce and the mashed potato, heavenly matched! (I don’t eat beef, that’s what I gathered from fren)
Mains (Generous Portion!)
- Paella🦐
- Cartafata🐟
Paella is made up of seafood, chicken, chorizo, bomba rice, seafood and saffron bisque, taste of ocean indeed!!! Good for sharing!
Cartafata is made up of sea bass, mixed seafood, and it comes with Thai style pineapple rice. I like the sauce, much of a Thai style, spicy, sour and refreshing, definitely worth coming back for!
I don’t mind coming back again for their mains, really value-for-money, just look at the fresh seafood and fish! Omo, just delish!!!
Desserts
- Panna Cotta🍼
- Pandan Churros🥖
- Coconut Ice Cream🥥
- Lava Cake🍫
Panna cotta with lemongrass aroma, neutralise the jelak feel from all the milky dairy taste, nice combi!
Pandan churros, hint of pandan smell, not very sweet, dip inside the warm chocolate sauce, can’t stop once you start eating it...
Coconut ice cream with basil granita, in aw that the ice cream doesn’t really melt even after rounds of phototaking by us... interesting combi with basil granita (acquired taste) and chocolate soil base, not bad...
Lava cake, the warm chocolate oozing out from the cake, eating it with the soft milky vanilla ice cream, heavenly can! Quite decent, won’t go wrong ordering this... Sadly, the vanilla ice cream just melted too fast, didn’t managed to take a nice photo of it...
Drinks
- Nin Jiom🥃 (Pi Pa Gao + Bourbon + Lemon + Honey + Mint)
This really taste like pi pa gao! For PPG lover, this is definitely your thing (but with alcohol content that is)! The strong aroma of PPG and the refreshing lemon, this just doesn’t taste like alcohol at all, for those who are afraid of hard liquor taste, fret not! But that doesn’t mean that the alcohol is not “gao” enough, I turned red soon after the first few sips...=X
Note: Colourful and brightly lit cafe-like tapas bar, nice ambience and cosy to go in a group and chat/catch-up...
