Basilico’s appetiser buffet
Bread! I love bread!! I know it’s slightly strange to go for the bread at a buffet but their quality is up there with the selection of breads being pretty decent (focaccia, squid ink, rye, the list goes on). Not to mention all the jams and condiments you can find at other parts of the buffet that can accompany the bread!

Next the cold cuts! Lots of different cold cuts here from salami to pancetta and different types of parma ham. Especially liked the salami which had a nice bite to it yet was dotted with bits of fats that melted in your mouth. Prosciutto di parma with rock melon is always a good combination as well!

Lastly the cheeses! They have sooooo many cheese here I didn’t even know where to start. Their burrata (not shown since it’s at a different section) had such a soft and creamy texture that it blew me away. Excellent when paired with some honey. The many other cheeses were all tasty as well!

Place: We had a table out of the main area which was nice as we got to see the higher levels of the hotel and admire the view. The seats were extremely comfortable and there was good service as well!
