I seldom aspire to endeavour long queues for anything, but I was suddenly inspired to do so for this beautiful bowl of Teochew style minced pork noodles, now rated 1 Michelin star. Good job, proud of my fellow Singaporeans!
My colleagues and I took turns to queue, in between sour plum drinks, iced lemon tea and steamed dumplings. Chef and his team were very organised and speedy in their tasks. Still, it took 45mins.
Didn't regret the sport, and we were rewarded with the right bite of noodles in the signature vinegar sauce rinsed with chilli, tender slices of liver and pork, chewy meat balls, my favourite minced pork, fried sole fish, and local's all-time favourite wanton. We wolfed down each of our own unique bowl of goodness in 20mins.
