This was SO good for $7! A friend and I needed a place to chill for several hours. We were heading to Asanoya bakery when we chanced upon this small cafe next to Kum Yan Methodist Church at Bras Basah MRT, and decided to stop by. Am I glad we did--lovely staff who were very apt at recommending their picks, cozy interior, fairly-priced food and coffee. This sandwich I ordered had a layer of hae bee hiam and another thicccc slab of egg mayo, both separated by some cucumber and tomato. Photos don't really do it justice. The egg mayo was SUPER SOLID - - not some canned shit but chunks of egg you could actually see and taste and just the right amount of mayo and seasonings to blend with it. This made for a very comforting teatime snack, especially on a drizzly day like today. Other things on the menu include some gorgeous looking tarts, soups, heftier-looking breads and an extensive drinks list. I'll defo be back!
