Ordered the Crispy Samgyeopsal with Creamy Scrambled Eggs and Soy-Yuja Sauce. It wasn’t bad - but it wasn’t great either.

The sauce was a tad too sweet for me. And it didn’t help when the rice portion was small. But the Kimchi and Pickled Daikon that came with the meal helped cut the sweetness of the sauce and made my lunch a little more palatable.

As for the Samgyeopsal (the grilled pork belly). Well, the meat was good and not overly salty - but the skin was hard! If that’s how it is - I wouldn’t name it “Crispy”.

So, will I come eat at Ajumma’s again...?? I may - but it will not be my first, second or third choice...!! 😥
