[Halal | Tasting] The Dim Sum Place is offering this fusion of two iconic dishes in Malay and Chinese cuisine – rendang and chee cheong fun. These looked too dubious to be good at first, but it was a pleasant surprise once I took my first bite! I liked the Beef variation better; the tender and semi-chewy meat enveloped in the butter-smooth and soft vermicelli roll made for a practically melty sensation in the mouth.

Every piece is also bite-sized at best, so we were all punctuated by the urge to go back for more as soon as we'd downed one of it. 😹 The best part about this though was how they'd managed to retain the authentic flavours of the rendang. Pretty well done! (7.4/10)
