The ones here are springy upon touch, chewy and a have little sweet after taste. This is expected as the main ingredients are wheat flour, sugar and glutinous rice flour. Personally, I am not a fan of this particular kuih as I think it taste rather bland. However it is my family’s favorite. The traditional ones are usually pink but they do come in different colors and flavors too. My sister decided to have the sesame flavoured Hei Pan for her breakfast.📍location: I got these kuih from a sweet old lady at a road side stall found in Mahkota Cheras , same row as 99Mart and GoodYear. I highly recommend their Lo Mai Chi.
