This is my 2nd fave yong tau foo in toa payoh but only my 2nd time eating it. I’ve never had it piping hot served on the spot but always tabao and cold, because it’s located near my fave prawn noodles and I always end up having that instead ( see previous post). Despite that, I was impressed by the taste that very first time. What took me so long was because the first time I was there I tried ordering it like the usual yong tau foo stalls where you pick and choose your pieces and the cost came up to a lot! This time, i figured out to buy in their sets, much cheaper at $5.5 but for a big eater like me, portion of 6 or 7 pieces is too small. Heh. They were nice enough to accommodate my requests for no bittergourd though. It’s yummy!
