My friend told me that this is the only fish soup that she will finish every drop of. So I decided to check it out for myself. Honestly, I was initially doubtful that I'll like it because I usually like milky and rich soups like the ones from Arcade Fish Soup or even Yu Tang Clan. But since it was so raved about, I decided to give it a try, and boy, am I glad I did!!! Don't be fooled by the clear soup, because it's actually really tasty especially with the fried garlic and chopped corriander toppings. The fish slices are thick, succulent and fresh, and there are SO MANY slices of it! The thick bee hoon is smooth AND surprisingly tasty, and not plain like most. Tasty AND value for money! What's the catch? I queued 30 mins for this. And it's only open on weekdays. That said, I'll gladly queue for this again cos it's just so good! Take note: the auntie quite fierce. Pro tips: know exactly what you want (sliced fish/fish head, beehoon/rice/soup, $5/$7/$9, eat here/takeaway), and don't give her 5 cents, and don't change your order after ordering lol.
