I have been 29 years old for SOOO many years - decided to turn 30 this year since I can’t possibly remain 29 forever. Anyway, had din-din at the Platypus Kitchen - picked by my wife and daughter.

I have been craving for a steak for a past few days - so choosing what to eat was a no brainer - ordered the Bugis' Butcher's Platter". Shared this with my son since this platter was designed to be shared.

The platter came with 2 cuts of meat - the Chophouse ribeye and a Pork Tomahawk steak. The ribeye was done medium - and it was divinely succulent and soft - and the pork chop - it was tender and moist - simply yummy. The platter came with 3 sides - Mesclun Salad, Bacon and Cheddar Mash, Panzanella Salad, Confit grape Tomatoes...and 3 delicious sauces - Hot Apple Chutney, Honey Truffle Soy and Burnt Lemon. Enjoyed it so much - and if I do come again - and I think I would - I will probably have this platter again - but I ain’t sharing with anyone!!

Anyway, it was definitely a happy birthday to me - thanks to my wife’s and daughter’s for their excellent choice!
