Haven't had the Bara from Teppei Syukudo for quite a while and it still pretty much satisfies those Barachirashi Don cravings. Opted for salmon, octopus, tuna and baby scallops atop Japanese rice — the fish were all neatly cut so it's all pretty consistent in terms of texture; the seafood all chunky and well-marinated with a sauce at the point of serving so the cubes of fish comes with a tinge of savouriness without masking over the original flavours of the fish. Still, pretty much a convenient option (considering how they seem to be almost everywhere in town) for quality Barachirashi bowls for a decent price around.
