The walk through the heavy rain and the wrong turns we took to find this shop was not in vain. The Caramel jar($4.50) contained a generous sprinkling of crunchy diced almonds and a dollop of dulce de leche atop layers of caramel mousse and vanilla cake. I fell in love with the sweet, salty and slightly bitter dulce de leche at first bite!😍 It was not overly sweet. 👍 The Lychee Passionfruit jar ($4.50), which contains pistachios, layers of lychee passionfruit mousse and vanilla cake, was ok (not a fan of lychee-cake pairings). I found the cake for both jars a tad dry on its own, but alright when paired with the mousse. Kudos for having fresh and crunchy nuts despite being kept in the freezer.
Note that this branch has only two small tables; takeout is recommended. However, the aunty tending the shop is really friendly; she even offered to wash the jars after we ate so that we could bring them home!
