I know from experience since my Mom always takes the soba noodles I buy from NTUC and cooks it with whatever Chinese soup she is making. 🍜

Same concept here at Tsuta except it is One-Michelin Starred and has truffle oil in its soup! 😋

I tried the Shoyu Soba on a cold rainy evening, perfect weather for piping hot Ramen! Surprisingly there wasn't a queue when I got there at 6pm on a weekday evening. ❄️ The noodles were crisp, char siew was tender and my Favourite was the Ajitama 🍳! Sooo good! The soup though...hmm..i must say, it's an acquired taste.

I love all things truffle - truffle oil, truffle fries, spaghetti with truffle, you get the gist. But truffle oil in Shoyu...not my cuppa tea. 🤔 Suppose I can't consider myself truffle lover of all time! 😝

Although I didn't quite like the aftertaste of the soup in my mouth, my partner loved it to bits!
Price wise, it's affordable considering it's Michelin starred and in Orchard.
Taste wise, you gotta try it for yourself! 👅
